Home Learning - COVID-19
Welcome to our new Home Learning page.
We have set this page up due to the COVID-19 outbreak, which - following Government Guidelines - has led to the temporary closure of the school.
Despite the school building being closed, the school community of St Buryan Academy certainly isn't.
We have being proactive and prepared in setting up online learning platforms for our children through Google Classrooms, our Facebook page has proven a great means of communication, we have this page on our website to help support you and we have a brand new YouTube video which we will be using to showcase assemblies, learning strategies and some whole school assemblies.
We fully appreciate that families have other commitments and are extremely busy during this time. So please don't feel any guilt if you are unable to complete any of the work set through Google Classrooms and if you need any support or guidance then please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Please don't think of this as 'home schooling' - that is a conscious choice people make. This is home learning and making the most of an unprecedented situation we find ourselves in. The most important thing is to spend time with your family and ensure everyone is safe. Any form of learning is valuable at this moment in time.
In this section of the website you will find a variety of things to help and support you. There is access to our COVID-19 Safeguarding Policy, our assemblies, letters regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, home learning information and Google Classroom logins, as well as useful websites and more!
Stay safe and please don't hesitate to get in touch if you need any support, guidance or advice. We are here to aid all of our St Buryan Academy community.
