Healthy Eating

Healthy eating is something that we always promote at school.
Our children have a voice in our school dinner options, which cater for all.  We provide hot meals each day that help fuel our children for learning and adventure.  Our school dinner meals are healthy, nutritional and filling!  We also provide a selection of desserts for the children to choose from too.  All of our meals are cooked on site by our fantastic school cook; we use as much local produce and local companies to source our food and ingredients as we possibly can.

We also run 'Let's Get Cooking' club for our older children.  This club allows them to cook a range of meals and snacks, all with health and nutritional benefits.  It teaches them fundamental cooking skills, the importance of a healthy, balanced diet and of course - they taste great!
 
Healthy living and healthy foods also plays part of our PSHE curriculum.
